DIY Project

Project: BMW Custom Blackened Grill. An easy and fast project that anyone can perform. Differentiate yourself from others and get a unique look for your car. Don't spend hundreds of dollars for a new grill, make one for yourself in minutes.

NOTE: Might not be applicable for all cars. Perform at your own risk, we are not liable for any damages or injury incurred. Safety first!

Tools Required: Heat Gun, Vinyl Sheet, Cutter, Scissor, Water and dishwasher liquid soap.

Take out the front grill.

The stock look front grill.

Take out the silver chrome piece and cut the sheet of vinyl according to the size.

Install using the wet method. Use the water and dish liquid soap solution and apply to vinyl and the chrome piece. This will prevent the vinyl to stick too fast and stick to itself. Use heat gun to dry, mend, bend and pull into shape. You might need a friend to help you hold the piece.

Install grill to the car.
